netCannery
netCannery is a configuration management application that analyzes network device configurations. It periodically schedules network device snapshots using the Canner. The snapshots are tagged and indexed allowing operators to look at configuration changes or compare configurations across their network.
Canner
The Canner is an open source framework for talking to network devices from a variety of vendors. Arbitrary commands can be issued to the device and the raw output and logs are saved in files in a directory snapshot or 'can'. The Canner extracts specific, targeted information in a device-dependent manner to highlight the details of the network that are of interest to its operators.
